How it all began.
When Poppy retired, he wondered what new adventure might be waiting for him. He had already lived a life full of music, hiking, and camping across the country. But through every journey—whether it was exploring the open road, sitting around a campfire, or just enjoying time with family and friends—one thing was always with him: a T-shirt.
For Poppy, T-shirts weren’t just clothes. They were souvenirs of places he’d been, symbols of folklore he admired, snapshots of animals he loved, and reminders of the people closest to him. Over time, he collected hundreds of them—classic, vintage, and sometimes just plain fun.
It wasn’t long before Poppy started putting his own ideas on fabric.
Inspired by simple objects, stories, and the world around him, he designed and pressed a few shirts for his family and friends. Word spread, and soon people were asking for their own “Poppy originals.” With encouragement from one of his daughters, Poppy took the leap—sharing his designs online and opening the door for custom, creative T-shirts that speak to the individual.
